Scripture:
“But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” – 1 Corinthians 1:24
Beloved,
Wisdom is one of the greatest treasures a person can possess because it governs how we live, make decisions, and fulfil purpose. Many seek wisdom through experience, education, and human counsel, but true wisdom has a source, and that source is Jesus Christ.
Jesus is not only a teacher of wisdom; He is Wisdom Himself. In Him, the fullness of God’s knowledge, understanding, and counsel is revealed. In Colossians 2:3, the Scripture says: “In Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” To know Christ is to know wisdom, and to follow Him is to walk in wisdom. The world may define wisdom by intelligence, achievements, or strategic thinking, but divine wisdom is seeing life from God’s perspective and living according to His will.
Many of life’s struggles are not always due to lack of strength or opportunity, but often due to lack of wisdom. Wrong choices, delayed obedience, and avoidable mistakes can lead to pain. But when Christ leads, He brings clarity, direction, and peace. He orders our steps and gives understanding for every season of life.
The good news is that this wisdom is available to everyone who comes to Him. No matter your past, your failures, or where you are right now, Jesus is calling you. He is the way, the truth, and the life. In Him is not only wisdom, but also salvation, peace, and eternal life.
First, wisdom is relational before it is practical. True wisdom begins with knowing Jesus, not merely knowing information.
Second, wisdom is transformational. The more we know Christ, the more our thoughts, decisions, and lifestyle align with God’s will.
Third, wisdom is directional. Knowing the Wisdom Himself gives clarity, guidance, and discernment for every season of life.
If you have not given your life to Jesus, this is the greatest and wisest decision you can ever make. Accept Him today as your Lord and personal Saviour. Surrender your life to Him, believe in His death and resurrection, and allow Him to lead you. When you receive Christ, you receive the very wisdom of God into your life.
If you are ready to accept Jesus, pray this simple prayer:
Prayer of Salvation:
Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I need Your mercy. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again for my salvation. I repent of my sins and ask You to forgive me. Come into my life, be my Lord and personal Saviour. Lead me, guide me, and help me to follow You all the days of my life. Thank You for saving me in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
If you prayed this prayer sincerely, welcome to the family of God. Stay rooted in His Word, remain in fellowship, and keep growing in your walk with Christ. The Wisdom Himself will guide you always.
