Scripture:
“You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.” – John 5:39
Beloved,
In a world filled with uncertainty, shifting values, and endless striving, there is one unchanging truth that anchors the soul, Jesus Christ. To know Him is to encounter not just a teacher or prophet, but God revealed in human form.
He is the Word made flesh (John 1:14), the exact image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15), full of grace and truth. When we look at Jesus, we are not guessing what God is like; we are seeing Him clearly (John 14:9).
Jesus walked among men, shared in our humanity, yet lived without sin (Hebrews 4:15). He came not only to show the way, but to give life (John 10:10). His life revealed God’s love; His cross accomplished our redemption.
On the cross, He declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30). In that moment, sin was paid for (Colossians 2:14), forgiveness secured (Colossians 2:13), and the power of darkness defeated (Colossians 2:15).
Because of His finished work, we are not striving for acceptance, we are accepted (Ephesians 1:6). We are not earning righteousness, we have received it in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). We are not fighting for victory, we walk in His victory (1 Corinthians 15:57).
Today, fix your eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2). Rest in what He has finished (Hebrews 4:3), knowing this: “you are complete in Him” (Colossians 2:10).
Jesus is enough and in Him, you are complete.
