Beloved,
Transformation is a journey that begins with access to light and matures into being changed by it. Jesus declared, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32), and He prayed, “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth” (John 17:17). This reveals that transformation is not accidental but the ongoing work of truth shaping our lives.
The Word of God is our primary access to truth. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). Scripture reveals God’s will, exposes darkness, and directs our steps. Yet exposure alone is not enough; truth must be heard and received. When the heart responds in faith and obedience, the truth we receive begins its transforming work within us.
Proximity also matters in the process of transformation. Remaining close to where God is speaking increases our access to His transforming agents. Jesus said, “When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). God also places shepherds according to His heart to feed His people with knowledge and understanding (Jeremiah 3:15).
True transformation flows from continual engagement with God’s Word, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, and alignment with godly instruction. As we remain positioned in God’s light, the truth we know steadily transforms us into the likeness of Christ.
Ask yourself:
Am I consistently engaging with God’s Word?
Do I receive truth with humility, even when it challenges me?
Have I positioned myself close to where God is speaking?
May God grant you understanding and divine insight as you progress in your journey of Growth and Transformation.
