Scripture:
“Jesus said, ‘Take away the stone.’… Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying.” – John 11:39
Beloved,
Before Lazarus could come forth, before resurrection power could flow, and before the miracle could manifest, one instruction came first: “Take away the stone.”
The stone was not the miracle, yet it stood in the way of it. It was not the source of life, yet it blocked the release of life. In the same way, many believers today have promises waiting to appear, but there are “stones” still standing between their prayers and their breakthroughs.
God has spoken. Prophecies have been declared. Hope has been rekindled. Yet certain barriers remain silent, heavy, and obstructive. These stones take different forms. Sometimes they appear as doubt that shuts out faith, or fear that suppresses boldness.
Sometimes they arise from unbelief shaped by past disappointments, or excuses that weaken obedience. They may manifest as emotional burdens that bury passion, negative voices that erode spiritual confidence, distractions that dull sensitivity to God, or comfort zones that resist transformation.
Just as people had to roll the stone away before Jesus called Lazarus forth, there are steps God invites us to take before His full power is revealed. Divine intervention often meets human participation; heaven moves, but earth must respond.
When Jesus said, ‘Take away the stone,’ He was confronting everything standing in the way of life, progress, restoration, and destiny, everything blocking access to your full provisions and divine potentials, and everything hindering the manifestation of God’s glory.
This month, every stone, spiritual, mental, emotional, or situational that stands before your breakthrough is being rolled away. Nothing will block what God is calling forth. Nothing will bury what God has ordained to live again.
Where there has been stagnation, movement will return. Where there has been silence, testimony will arise. Where there has been decay, restoration will manifest. Where hope has been buried, resurrection power will lift it again.
God is not only calling you out, He is clearing the way before you. This month, every stone is removed, and your miracle will appear.
Prayer:
Lord, command every stone standing before my breakthrough to be taken away.
Roll away every barrier, visible or invisible, that blocks Your power, Your voice, or Your direction in my life.
Prepare the way for resurrection, restoration, and divine manifestation in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
