In these times, it is more critical than ever to know God personally, not just through religion or tradition, but through a living relationship with Jesus Christ. As we continue the journey of 2025, let us pause and ask: Do I truly know Jesus? Is He truly at the centre of your life and pursuit?

Today, the world is filled with counterfeit ministers and deceitful workers, even among those who are well-versed in the Scriptures. Many have a form of godliness but deny its power (2 Timothy 3:5). No wonder, for Satan himself transforms into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).

That’s why it’s our responsibility, as children of God, to walk in truth and not be deceived. The best way to recognise the counterfeit is to be intimately familiar with the original. Jesus said, “By their fruits, you shall know them.”

So, how is your relationship with the original, our Lord Jesus Christ?

You can only fight deception with truth. But how will you know the truth if you don’t spend time in the Word of Truth, the Bible? Be wise.

Scripture warns us that even the very elect could be deceived if care is not taken (Matthew 24:24). Heaven is our home. Live every day with eternity in view.

We shall not miss heaven in Jesus’ Name, Amen. Keep seeking, keep growing, and stay rooted in Christ.
