God Has the Final Say

Scripture: “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1 (ESV)

Devotional:

Beloved, have you found yourself drowning in guilt even after confessing your sins and receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Does your past still whisper shame, and your foundation feels like a trap laid by the enemy?

Don’t fall for the enemy’s lies. The devil is a master accuser, constantly bringing up your past to sabotage your future. However, you must remember this: your past is information and information without God’s revelation is incomplete. Only God sees your full story, and He has not concluded your case.

The love of God toward you is not based on your performance – it is inexhaustible, unearned, and unfathomable. You are forgiven, redeemed, and made new in Christ. Condemnation has no legal ground over your life anymore.

Reject the devil’s lies. Resist his accusations. Remember that only God has the final say, and His word over you is one of mercy, grace, and restoration.

So, rise above shame today. Silence those inner and external voices with the truth of God’s Word. Keep bouncing in the Lord confidently, joyfully, and victoriously.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your endless love and forgiveness. Help me to walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for me. I silence every voice of condemnation and embrace Your truth over my life. I declare that my past is not my identity — I am a new creation in Christ. Amen.

Reflection:

– What lies from the enemy have you been believing about your past?

– How can you remind yourself daily of your identity in Christ?
