Beloved,

Who are you that God is mindful of you? He made you a little lower than the angels and crowned you with glory and honour. God made you in His image and gave you dominion over the works of His hands and put all things under your feet.

Despite His sovereignty and benevolence over your life, you are striving with Him that holds the key to your life and death. When Saul became too big to obey the instructions of the King Maker – God, He humbled him with madness.

When Nebuchadnezzar questioned God’s majesty, he was driven from men, and his dwelling was with the beasts of the field. He ate grass like oxen until he realised that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever He chooses.

When Pharaoh challenged God’s existence, Red Sea gave him an answer and did not live to tell the story. I can go on and on, but do you remember King Herod that ordered the beheading of John the Baptist? he was eaten by one of the smallest of God’s creation – worms right in front of his people.

Be humble and let God have His way in your life before you become the next specimen He will use to showcase His supremacy to the world.

Stop playing God in people’s lives as you are absolutely nothing without Him. Anything you think you have or become is a testament to His mercy over your life, so give Him glory and start living your life with heaven and hell in view. Don’t try to outrun God in your pursuit because He is the beginning and the ending.
