Loosed to Live for Him

Scripture:

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me – Galatians 2:20

Beloved,

God’s desire is not only to set you free but to set you free for His glory. Just as Jesus declared, “Loose him, and let him go,” freedom in Christ is always purposeful, it is never random. When God looses you from bondage, it is so you may abide in Him, bear fruit, and multiply. True freedom is always linked to relationship with Jesus, for apart from Him, even liberty can become dangerous.

Being loosed does not mean living for self. Without Jesus seated upon you just as He seated on the donkey during His triumphant entry into Jerusalem, there is no glory, honour, or lasting value. The presence of Jesus is what gives significance to your life, your actions, and your destiny.

To be fruitful in freedom, you must take His yoke and learn of Him. Only then will you be free indeed. Otherwise, freedom without Him can leave a vacuum in your life, susceptible to the enemy’s attacks. True liberty requires abiding in God, being tested, and being trusted with eternal matters. Just like Lazarus was raised from death, your life must be lived with eternity in view, fully surrendered to God’s will.

Remember, when you are loosed, your life is no longer your own. Your choices, your progress, and your steps must please God. Physical progress is temporary; spiritual fruitfulness and obedience last for eternity. God will only entrust you with things of eternal value once He has seen that you can be trusted.

Are you using your freedom to live for yourself, or are you loosed to live for Him? Let every step, every decision, every breath be a reflection of Jesus seated in your life. Let Him guide you, teach you, and lead you, for true freedom is inseparable from faithful obedience.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for setting me free. Help me to take Your yoke, learn from You, and live a life that pleases You.

Seat Yourself upon my heart, guide my steps, and let my freedom glorify You. Teach me to live with eternity in view, trusting You with all that You have placed in my hands.
