Scripture Focus: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)
Devotional Thought:
As we journey through the second quarter of 2025, it’s time to pause and reflect. Are your ambitions aligned with God’s purpose for your life? This is the season to lay down every desire that contradicts His will. Your life has a divine blueprint, and discovering it requires intimacy with your Creator and partnership with the Holy Spirit.
This year, don’t merely visit God’s presence, dwell there. Make it your permanent address. It is in that abiding place that you will receive divine intelligence, clear instructions, and supernatural direction for your life. God’s revelation is essential to navigate this uncertain year and bring it to a victorious close.
2025, like every year, carries both promise and challenge, including the beautiful and the ugly. But those who walk closely with God will be sustained, strengthened, and led. There’s still time to align, to course correct, and to pursue what truly matters. Let God lead; follow faithfully. Those who surrender all into His hands will see His hand move in all things.
Maximise your God-given potential not for personal gain but to bring His Kingdom to earth through your calling. You can plant and water, but only God gives the increase (1 Corinthians 3:7). Be wise. Seek Him first. Walk in step with Him and watch what He will do.
Reflection:
– Are there ambitions I need to surrender to align with God’s purpose?
– Am I just visiting God’s presence, or am I dwelling there daily?
– Have I consulted God first in my plans for this year?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to dwell in Your presence, to hear Your voice, and to walk in obedience. Strip away every ambition that doesn’t reflect Your will. I yield to You, lead me, guide me, and use me to fulfil Your purpose on earth – Amen.
